Weekly Challenge #4

2/19/2013

This may be the hardest weekly challenge of them all for some of you out there. I know it will be hard for me ( I just finished eating an entire bar of chocolate (90% of course).

The challenge - cut all sugar for 6 days, and record how you feel each day. That's it.

For me, I am going to allow some sugars - Ginger Kombucha Drinks (the 2g sugar / serving variety ) are fair game at a rate of no more than 0.5 bottles / day. Also, sugar-free gum is ok (it has the fake sugars which I generally want to avoid, but I like to chew gum on long fasts).
What will NOT be fair game:
    - Chocolate (even dark, 100% cacao)
    - Fruit (fructose)
    - Stevia, xylitol, or any of that other fake stuff
    - Honey
    - All other sugars that I can't think of right now but that you could use to cheat.

My approach - eat lots of veggies and fats ( I guess that's kind of always my general approach... but I have been craving too many sugars recently after binging on a couple so that's why I want to kick the habit!)

This challenge is going to be up for 2 weeks, so choose a day to binge on your last fruit and chocolate, and then start kicking the sugar. Tell me how it goes!

May the force be with you.
