How exciting is your resume? Do you like to read it to yourself and reflect on all of the awesome things you have done? I kind of doubt it... but I also know that for every job experience, there is an untold story, something that captures your spirit at the time and shows what it is you are really made of and where you have come from.
After discussing Your Personal Mission Statement last week, I took a look at this 'Resume Poem' that I wrote in University. My challenge to you this week is to create a resume poem for yourself - use real life events, but slightly change the name of the event to something that suits your fancy. Then, reflect on the life-experience that particular event gave you and write a short, poetic description that hints at what that experience meant to you.
